When we first visited the hovel we counted five lawn mowers abandoned in various parts of the garden. These were removed before completion.
However, we do still possess a fine collection of four sheds and three green houses. None are usable. The sheds will be cut up for kindling for fires. It might be possible to make one usable greenhouses from the three that are currently overgrown.
This year we will concentrate on renovating the house. When that is finished, we will make a start on the garden. However, in laying piping for a ground source heat pump we will be able to introduce a little terracing to the sloping garden.
It would be good grow vegetables and flowers, but there are an awful lot of rabbits. I counted seven in the garden at dawn on Wednesday. Possibly, with more arriving in the future.
